Pallak Bammi was born in New Delhi in 1967, the capital of India. She discovered her artistic side while still in middle school and there was no looking back.
Pallak is a self-taught artist, and after painting for almost twenty years, she has forged her own unique style.
Proficient in watercolors, oils and mixed media, her paintings represent a range of emotions. She draws inspiration from the range of colors she observes during her travel across Asia (in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore and India), the United States, and the Middle East.
Pallak works in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media. Her work in varied media is about colours, textures, contrasts and tints and tones and hues. Her styles range from figurative to abstract work, with several experiments in diverse areas. She has been increasingly influenced by spirituality, which has impacted her work significantly. The recent collections in the Portals series reflect her new style.
Her paintings hang in several private collections in India, Singapore, Dubai, The United States and Great Britian.

Pallak had a solo exhibition in New York in December 2007.
Pallak has earlier held informal solo exhibitions in Kolkata, Mumbai and Singapore, and has also participated in two group exhibitions in Singapore.
